Friday means Fry-yay!

There is just something precious about smiling food - especially when it comes in the form of a delicious cookie! Follow along as I walk you through the process of making these adorable fry guys!

What you’ll need:

-CookieCutterKingdom French Fries Cookie Cutter
-Sugar cookie dough (CookieCutterKingdom recipe here)
-Royal icing in red, golden yellow, black (CookieCutterKingdom recipe here)
-Rolling pin
-Piping bags
-Decorating tips #3, #5

Directions:
Dust work surface with flour, roll out your dough, and dip cutters in flour before cutting out the french fries. Freeze shapes for about an hour, then bake according to recipe, and cool completely.

Using your flood consistency red royal icing and the #5 tip, outline the lower halves and fill in. Let dry for at least 15 minutes.

Then, take your golden yellow icing and pipe the outline shape of all your fries and fill in. Let dry (I let them sit overnight).

Once all is dry, change your tips to the #3 size. Outline the red fry box, then switch to yellow and outline the fries. Be sure to outline each individual fry. I dusted mine with a tiny bit of edible disco dust, just to add some glitz. After all, the weekend is here!

Grab your black icing, and pipe eyes and a smile. I like to keep a little bag of black icing in the fridge so that I don't have to be making new batches all the time!

Congratulations on making it through the week, and enjoy your Fry-Day!

Enjoy,
Ardy
