House of Crumbs started as a way for Capitol Hill staffer Hayley Alexander to relieve stress after work and tune into her creative side. Specializing in custom, hand-decorated cookies, HOC has become a favorite of local event planners, members of Congress, and the nonprofit community, providing custom cookies at major events such as the induction of President Coolidge to the cast of the Washington Nationals' Racing Presidents and the inaugural White House Holiday Shopping Event and about a zillion toddlers' birthday parties.
